Purchasing Analyst

£13.50 PER HR

£13.50 per hour

We have an exciting new role as a Purchasing Analyst for one of our prestigious clients based in Coleshill Birmingham

The role of Purchasing and Material Control Analyst reports to the Purchasing Manager and has responsibility across all areas of operational procurement. This entails working closely with other functional departments and managers. A key focus area of the role is to help develop the function and introduce improved processes and procedures across the business in relation to purchasing.


·Reviewing daily MRP output to drive placement of Purchase Orders to satisfy manufacturing requirements

·Managing these outputs to bring materials in on time to meet production requirements

·Manage on time delivery in full

·Manage Invoice queries

·Manage business KPI’s


Full driving licence

High competency level Word and Excel


Experience of purchasing within a manufacturing environment

Experience of and enthusiasm for developing the purchasing function

Demonstrate a good understanding of manufacturing purchasing practice

Demonstrate a track record of success in a similar role


Ability to work on own initiative

Ability to prioritise own workload and manage own time commitments

Good communication skills both written and verbal

Negotiation skills

This position is Contract fixed term of 3-6 months approximately.

Working hours: Days 8.15 -4.15 Monday to Friday
