Regional Sales Representative

Website Salary: £35,000 + Commission + Car + Benefits

Shawthorpe are looking for a competitive Regional Sales Representative to develop sales strategies and attract new clients for our client based in Cradley Heath, Birmingham.

 

Job Purpose

The successful person will source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve the businesses strategy and goals. They will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and managing sales of products and services.

 

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Using various sales methods cold calling – presentations – B2B Door to door
  • Forecast sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
  • Evaluate customers skills, needs, and build productive long-lasting relationships
  • Meet personal and team sales targets
  • Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads
  • Attending meetings both externally and internally with the Head of Sales and sales team keeping abreast of the latest developments
  • Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data
  • Maintain and expand client database within your territory

 

Skills and Experience

  • Proven sales experience
  • Track record of KPIs and achievements
  • Experience working CRM’S
  • Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
  • Computer use competency
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • Ideally from a manufacturing sales background with Construction, plastics or similar

 

Working Hours and Salary

  • Straight permanent position
  • Salary of £35k plus commission
  • Initial Car Allowance and after 3 months’ probation a company car will be provided
  • Monday to Friday 8.30am – 17.00
  • One day a week based in office for sales catch up, will be on road and hybrid.
